Terms of Service

The following Terms of Service govern the services provided by CHANDOK TECHNOSOFT, a government registered firm in New Delhi, India under Goods & Services Tax (GST), UDYAM under Ministry of MSME and Importer-Exporter Code (IEC), offering web design and development solutions on pan India basis.

 

  1. Services Provided

We offer:

  • Website design and development services
  • Domain registration and hosting setup (third party)
  • SEO-optimised content and graphic/visual generation and integration for the website project
  • Content management services and technical maintenance support for the delivered website (on occasional/monthly/annual basis)

 

Scope of Work

CHANDOK TECHNOSOFT will design and develop the website according to the features, pages, product limits and other deliverables specifically mentioned in the agreed quotation/proposal.

Inclusions

Depending on the selected package, the scope may include:

  • Website design and development
  • Responsive optimisation for desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Agreed number of pages and features
  • Contact/enquiry forms and standard integrations
  • Basic SEO, performance and security setup
  • SSL/HTTPS setup
  • E-commerce functionality and initial product setup, where applicable
  • Website testing, deployment and agreed post-launch support

Exclusions

Unless specifically mentioned in the quotation, the following are not included:

  • Domain registration/renewal charges
  • Premium themes, plugins or extensions
  • Paid third-party services, APIs or subscriptions
  • Professional photography/videography
  • Extensive graphic design or copywriting
  • Product photography or extensive product-data preparation
  • Advanced off-site SEO or digital marketing
  • Custom software development or complex functionality
  • ERP/CRM, LMS, marketplace or advanced API integrations
  • Mobile app development
  • Unlimited content/product updates

Any work or functionality outside the agreed scope will be quoted and charged separately.

 

Client Responsibilities

The client must provide accurate content, images, product information, credentials and other required materials in a timely manner. The client is responsible for ensuring that all supplied content and materials are legally authorised for use.

 

Third-Party Services

CHANDOK TECHNOSOFT is not responsible for changes, outages, pricing, policies or limitations of third-party services, including hosting, domains, payment gateways, APIs, plugins and social-media platforms as they are beyond our control.

The project quotation/proposal shall be the final authority regarding the exact scope and deliverables for each project.

 

Our Pricing Package

  • 1-year web hosting — Included
  • 1-year business email plan — Included
  • SSL/HTTPS setup — Included
  • Domain registration — Extra at actual cost
  • Premium theme — Extra at actual cost
  • Premium plugins/extensions — Extra at actual cost
  • GST @ 18% — Extra

Domain registration is charged separately at actual cost. The domain is registered in the client’s name and remains the client’s property. Since domain charges vary depending on the domain extension, registrar and renewal rates—for example, domains such as .com, .in, .co.in, etc. have different pricing hence the applicable domain registration fee is payable by the client at the prevailing actual cost.

 

  1. Payment Terms
  • All projects require 50% advance payment.
  • No work commences without advance payment as we need to purchase domain on the client’s behalf, assign hosting, activate emails and incur other operational expenses for commencing the website development work.
  • The cost of Premium Theme/Plugin/Template/Design (if required) is payable along with the advance, for which the client is informed well in advance.
  • Balance 50% payment is required at the time of website delivery.
  • Clients are invoiced with applicable Goods & Services Tax (currently 18% for website development)

 

  1. Client Responsibilities

Client must:

  • Provide accurate content such as write-up, pictures and other details to showcase on the website.
  • Review and approve projects promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Respect timeline commitments and shared milestones.
  • Release payment as per agreed terms.

 

  1. Revisions & Change Request
  • Each package includes a defined number of revisions as stated in the offer proposal.
  • Additional changes are billable at an agreed price.
  • Changes to the originally agreed scope, functionality, structure or design may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

 

  1. Timelines & Delays
  • Generally, time required to build the website (business/portfolio/e-commerce store) is 5 to 15 days, depending on the scope and complexity.
  • Timelines are estimates and may shift due to client delays, scope changes, force majeure, technical or other unprecedented issues beyond our control.
  • Unresponsiveness for more than 15 days may lead to project closure without any refund.

 

  1. Ownership & Project Delivery
  • Final website ownership is transferred upon full payment. For details, please refer to our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
  • Clients receive a full backup of the website containing all source files (all raw, editable or essential files used to build the website), including original logo (if enrolled), graphics and custom codes used during the website building, along with admin login details.

 

  1. Third-Party Services

We may integrate third-party services for domains, hosting, emails, plugins, payment gateways and other requirements. We are not liable for their uptime, pricing changes, processing charges, policy changes or support limitations, as these services do not fall under our direct control.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

CHANDOK TECHNOSOFT is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from:

  • Hosting/server failures
  • Plugin or theme vulnerabilities
  • Third-party service failures
  • Force majeure or technical issues beyond our control

 

  1. Privacy & Data

Client data is handled with full confidentiality while maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Termination

Either party may terminate the project with written notice. Upon termination:

  • Work completed will be delivered. See our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
  • Advance payments are non-refundable if notice is beyond three days from the date of commencement of work.

 

  1. Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Indian law under the courts of Delhi.
